Patricia S. Bruce, 52, of Riverton, passed away on Tuesday March 31, 2015 at her residence. She was born on December 8, 1962 in Springfield to Harrison and Velma Spoon Parrish. She married T.J. Bruce on June 17, 2000 in Springfield and he survives.

Mrs. Bruce is also survived by her daughter Jennifer (Josh) Woodruff of Riverton, sons: Michael (Jamie) Smith of Riverton and Morgan Bruce of Industry, IL., grandchildren: Alivia and Joshua Woodruff Jr., and Erica and Ethan Smith all of Riverton, two brothers: Jackie (Sandy) Parrish of Rushville, and David (Marilee) Parrish...

Patricia S. Bruce, 52, of Riverton, passed away on Tuesday March 31, 2015 at her residence. She was born on December 8, 1962 in Springfield to Harrison and Velma Spoon Parrish. She married T.J. Bruce on June 17, 2000 in Springfield and he survives.

Mrs. Bruce is also survived by her daughter Jennifer (Josh) Woodruff of Riverton, sons: Michael (Jamie) Smith of Riverton and Morgan Bruce of Industry, IL., grandchildren: Alivia and Joshua Woodruff Jr., and Erica and Ethan Smith all of Riverton, two brothers: Jackie (Sandy) Parrish of Rushville, and David (Marilee) Parrish of Springfield, one sister Delores (Willie) Haynes of Bowling Green, KY., two sister-in-laws: Ruthie Parrish of Quincy and Zelma Parrish of Winter Haven, FL., as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Ronnie, Richard, Steve and Gary Parrish and her sister Carolyn Rutherford.

Patricia enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with her furbabies at home: Jasmine, Daisy Mae, and Peewee. Above all, she loved her time spent with her family and beloved grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday April 4, 2015 at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Road. The family will meet friends from 9:30 until the time of service Saturday at Bisch West.
